Enterprise AI Portfolio Strategy,
Intake Pipeline & AI TRiSM Governance
The Strategic Challenge
In a $4B Fortune 1000 industrial distribution enterprise, departmental demand for AI tools surged rapidly across commercial sales, customer care, fulfillment, and finance. Without a rigorous architecture and intake mechanism, enterprises face severe capital fragmentation: duplicate SaaS licensing, unverified ROI estimates, unvetted algorithmic risk, and pilot fatigue where tools fail to reach production adoption.
Architecting the CX Value Calculator & Intake Pipeline
To replace ad-hoc tool adoption with disciplined portfolio management, I engineered the enterprise CX Intake and Prioritization Pipeline and built the underlying CX Value Calculator engine:
- Multi-Dimensional Value Scoring: Every prospective AI initiative is quantitatively evaluated across hard-dollar labor recovery, working capital acceleration, customer experience impact (Relationship NPS, CSAT, FCR), and technical delivery feasibility.
- Build vs. Buy Financial Modeling: Formulated strict build-versus-buy criteria weighing total cost of ownership, recurring API token spend, proprietary Dataverse schema integration, and internal engineering capacity.
- Stage-Gate Delivery Cadence: Created a transparent governance gate taking proposals from initial intake through discovery, architectural vetting, time-study validation, pilot testing, and corporate rollout. 74 enterprise submissions have been evaluated to date.
Corporate AI Governance & AI TRiSM Leadership
As an active member of the enterprise AI Governance Council and its TRiSM (Trust, Risk, and Security Management) subcommittee, I help shape corporate AI posture:
- Algorithmic Risk Controls: Established deterministic guardrails, automated data sanitization protocols, and human-in-the-loop review thresholds for production AI agents interacting with live ERP and CRM records.
- Enterprise AI Literacy: Direct the company-wide AI Fluency workstream, designing role-based training programs that equip business leaders and frontline associates with practical, compliant AI execution skills.
- Audit & Reconciliation Standards: Mandated that every dollar of reported AI labor savings be tied to per-associate transaction logs and reconciled against source records with zero allowable financial variance.
Sustaining Change: Advocates & Customer Advisory Council
Recognizing that technology without organizational alignment becomes stranded capital, I founded and direct two institutional governance bodies:
- Customer Journey Advocates Network: Embedded a designated, trained voice-of-the-customer champion inside all 29 corporate functions. We run bi-weekly working sprints, structured intake, and performance scorecards that enforce a 30% adoption floor across every business unit.
- Enterprise Customer Council: Designed and chartered a standing advisory board seating 12 to 15 senior customer executives per session at a 3:1 customer-to-MSC ratio, ensuring corporate AI and digital transformation roadmaps align with verified customer priorities.
